First started trading crypto in 2020, mostly small gains and losses until this year's bull run. I finally consolidated all my accounts/wallets and realized I crossed a net worth of $1.5M! Here’s my breakdown as of today: * Crypto: $1.2M (started with $50k) * WIF: $379k * HYPE: $289k (got airdropped $150k for using HyperLiquid) * DOGE: $279k * BTC: $84k * SOL: $71k * ETH: $67k * Some random other meme coin trades: $54k * Stocks / ETFs (only own $VOO): $235k * Cash: $51k I only own VOO to balance out my degen crypto portfolio (and I’m historically really bad at trading stocks lol). The crazy part is, I forgot about a lot of the coins I bought, like $WIF. A friend introduced me to an app last year that helped me track all my wallets and trading accounts in one place. That’s when I realized my YOLO meme wallet had gone absolutely nuts. Honestly, I didn’t expect anything like this to happen. **Future plan:** Take 50% of the profits and let the rest ride. Going to buy some sweet Christmas presents for my parents and myself. Definitely planning on moving out of my parents’ house though….

Wintermute said spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded roughly $2 billion in combined outflows over 10 days, marking the longest redemption streak since launch. Strategy also added to bearish sentiment after revealing in a June 1 Form 8-K that it sold 32 Bitcoin for roughly $2.5 million between May 26 and May 31. The timing created controversy on Polymarket, where a market on whether Strategy would sell Bitcoin by May 31 was disputed after confirmation arrived after the deadline. A trader posting as willo2 said he lost roughly $500,000 and claimed the rules were changed after the fact. Fundstrat’s Tom Lee pushed back on the bearish narrative, saying the Bitcoin and Ethereum thesis is “absolutely not” broken. Lee argued that crypto infrastructure remains important as AI agents, tokenization, decentralized identity, and blockchain settlement systems expand. He also laid out a long-term framework where Bitcoin could theoretically reach $2 million if it eventually matched gold’s network value while gold reaches $5,000. This shit is trashhhhhh, sure overall ive made money honestly (im net positive for a good margin). But the amount ive lost, thousands on complete scan projects. Not even meme coins, just coins and tokens promising new futures, new tech, new this and that... ALMOST ALL of them have burnt to the ground, all of them. The only thing thats stood has honestly been BTC and what money I have has come from holding btc and bnb Projects like Lukso, Varsity, Omg/omisgo (for the old schoolers here) etc have all been unbelievably disappointing. And even though im up, i dont care, I barely look at it, its almost like a joke within my social circle - we all have crypto, we've all made money and honestly, I wouldn't care if I lose it tomorrow and it disappears. Crypto was such a disappointment

Hey guys, I am fairly new to crypto and there is a lot of information out there, I have watched some videos and read some news/posts, but I cannot decide if it is a good time to buy anything right now. For now, I am only interested in BTC and ETH and I am wondering which one to buy, or when to buy it. Any advice?
Crypto is lagging massively against the stock market. Last year, the crypto market got dumped along with stocks due to the tariffs, but after 6 months, we were seeing an ATH in both. Then, on October 10, everyone lost trust in crypto. At the beginning of 2026, Venezuela and Iran went to war, and markets shook, but stocks kept rising and beating ATH, while in the meantime, crypto was stale. Bitcoin went from 60 to 81k and ETH from 1800 to 2300. Even with the Clarity passing yesterday, crypto didn't move, and now that the new FED Chairman has taken office, we can see crypto dumping again due to uncertainty. To summarise, I don't believe crypto will thrive again. We had 3 bull cycles in the previous 12 years with diminishing returns; like it or not, returns will decrease over time, as expected. There are no more catalysts that can trigger another bull run, like it or not. If you look at [Google Trends](https://trends.google.com/explore?q=%2Fm%2F0108bn2x&date=today%205-y&geo=Worldwide), both Bitcoin and Ethereum are trending down because they're not hot anymore. It's way easier to invest worldwide, so why invest in Crypto when you can put money in energy and tech stocks that go up anyway with way less risk? Retail lost trust in crypto. Companies accumulate but a very small portion in their portfolios to keep the FOMO. Anyway, these are my 2 cents on Crypto's current state and future. I will keep holding my coins, but I don't expect a bull run in the next 24 months. In my opinion, it's more likely to see crypto dumping to 0 than reaching a new ATH.
