IMO, Marques’ videos felt more exciting back when he didn’t have such a big team. I still watch his videos regularly and I still think he’s easily a top 3 tech creator right now. But earlier, I genuinely used to wait for his uploads and get excited when a new video notification popped up. Somewhere around the time the WVFRM podcast started, that excitement slowly dipped for me. The videos today feel more like deep technical analysis and extremely polished production, which is not a bad thing at all. But I feel like I miss a bit of that personal touch and simplicity he used to have. Earlier he was a clear number one for me. Now he’s still up there, just not quite at that same level personally. Not trying to offend anyone here. Just sharing my personal opinion and curious if anyone else feels the same way or if it’s just me.
