Is the iPhone Air actually the better everyday iPhone right now?

I picked up the Air recently (huge discount, which probably says something about demand), and I didn’t expect this… but it might be the first iPhone in years that doesn’t feel like a brick. Yeah, it’s missing stuff: no LiDAR, no ultra-wide. On paper that sounds like a downgrade. In practice, I’m not sure I care. What surprised me more: durability. From the bend tests I’ve seen, it seems to hold up about as well as the 17 Pro, which I definitely didn’t expect from something this thin. So now I’m wondering if the “Pro” models are kind of overkill for most people. **Curious what others think:** \- Do you actually use LiDAR / ultra-wide regularly? \- Does the weight/thickness difference matter long-term? \- If you’ve tried both, which one did you stick with? Also: anyone running super thin cases? Feels like that’s the sweet spot for this phone
